professional dj headphone... the one-piece tma-1 headband consists of a strong, durable and flexible nylon material, which provides full flexibility when wearing and positioning the headphones during djing. the two different cushions can be changed easily with the click release function, so the headphones fit all situations – from a noisy club environment to just being on the road. the speaker is protected by the cushion plate with integrated filter and provides the richest sound that is available today along with the most durable driver technology. finally, there is a 3mm cotton fiber filter for isolation and the headphone cup out of a resistant abs material to protect the fragile parts. the 1.7 meter cable has a mini jack connection in both ends as well as a reinforced plug with a 1/8 adapter option. it has a 0.4 meter coil on the wire, which gives extra length and flexibility at the turntable.
the name tma-1 (tycho magnetic anomaly-1) is taken from arthur c. clarke s science fiction novel 2001: a space odyssey and refers to a black monolith, which is extremely long-lived and reliable – just as the tma-1.

new yorks elon provides metroline with yet another very fine release. clap back is a real gem. the original mix has a beautiful spacious and airy mix that allows the echo-soaked toms and the swirling vox stabs to breathe, and they really draw you in. an insistent bass pulse provides a structure for the snappy post-garage percussion to build into a lurching, lunging rhythm. very original, and very infectious. ekkohaus remix is a focused, driving deep house groove, shaped around lush, rounded stabs and heavily-filtered synths. claps and snare emerge from the beautifully balanced mix to give the track a real disco kick. the third track on the ep zero gravity has a more back-to-basics feel. the bassline is dubby, but the percussion has a classic french touch feel that gives the track real movement. a rhodes-like synth line wraps itself round the track like a warm fuzzy blanket. maximum comfort for house heads.

dixie yure is the incarnation of contemporary oldschool house music from seville. after some digital only releases it is about time for some haptic experience. with the 10“ record „show me satisfaction“ on berlin-based label fenou his sound is rotating on turntables for the first time. monotonous minimalism ain’t dixie yures world. the sound tends more towards 2step and builds a homogeneous and pleasant mixture with classical house elements and vocal parts. you just cant deny yourself dancing the >chicken dance< and stepping like hell! thanks to the funky improvisations extending over the whole track you wont get bored even after listening to >show me< for the hundredth time. the a-side is just fun - in the club as well as on your couch. you wont miss the low-pitched vocals on the b-side either as they are typical for the spanish producer. >satisfaction< is a little more reduced than >show me< but is enhanced with jazz elements such as pianos and saxophones. it shows that wind instruments in electronic music dont have to be annoying tribal elements. in this example acoustic instruments do not just get mixed up with house music but merge to one groove – absolutely rocking tune!
